Kearney County Community Foundation
Since 1992, area residents have been turning to the Kearney County Community Foundation to make their charitable giving as effective as possible. They have given more than $26,000 to support projects and programs within Kearney County and have awarded over $24,000 in scholarships. Giving to our local foundation helps our communities fund community projects, meet goals and strengthen community ties. The Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 organization.
Most donors contribute to improve their hometowns. Listed below are some local projects that currently desire your contribution. While general donations are used to support the expenses of the foundation, you may designate your gift toward a specific dedicated fund by indicating this on the memo line of your check. Contribute to Benefit Your Home Town
The KCCF is the administrator of the following dedicated funds:
Minden’s "Opera House Building Preservation Fund"
Gifts go towards future Opera House building care, maintenance and future capital improvement of the building.
Minden’s Beautification Fund:
Gifts go toward the downtown vision of the new potted plants, park benches, light poles, trash containers and the overall beautification plan for Minden. Specify "Beautification Team" on your donation.
Merryman Scholarships:
Gifts go to area high school graduates.
Krick Family Scholarships:
Gifts go to area high school graduates.
Nathan Raun Children’s Theatre Fund:
Gifts provide for the Missoula Children’s Theatre each year.
Liberty Cemetery Fund:
Upkeep and maintenance.
Minden Pageant Fund:
Annual Christmas pageant held in November and December of each year.
Jensen Memorial Library Fund:
Gifts benefit library improvement and renovation.
