The City of Minden will have a planned city-wide power outage on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has to shut down the substation that feeds power to the City to make repairs.
The repair will require a complete power outage for approximately 5 hours. The ENTIRE CITY OF MINDEN will be without power. We ask residents to use water minimally during the outage including flushing toilets, running sinks, showering, etc.
