Networking provides business owners an opportunity to learn, share and discuss ideas, increase contacts and most importantly, share business referrals. In today’s increasingly connected society, those with the most connections typically find an easier path to success.
The PK Partnership is proud to announce the reformation of the I & E Club into Phelps and Kearney County Business Enhancement Network (BEN). “These free seminars are designed to provide entrepreneurs and small business owners with the chance to meet other progressive business owners for the opportunity to stay on the cutting edge of business,” says Lisa Karnatz, BEN Chairperson. “When large companies such as HP and Google are reportedly creating a new executive-level position in charge of networking, we believe it is critical that we provide networking options for small business owners in our area.”
“Networking provides great stimulation for me and my business,” states Joe Roberts of Roberts Seed in Axtell. “I get to hear what did and didn’t work for another business. The guest speakers we have seen through the PK Partnership have helped me hone and sharpen my business skills. There is also the opportunity to visit with potential investors.”
The February seminar looks at quick ways to promote a business and will be held at the Minden Opera House, 420 Broadway in Minden, at 6:00 p.m. PK BEN meetings are free to the public.
