  • The Minden Municipal Code states in part that it shall be unlawful for any trailers, licensed or unlicensed, attached or unattached, to be parked on any street or right of way in the City of Minden between the hours of 9:00 pm to 7:00 am on any day of the week. This prohibition does not apply to licensed trailers being used in the remodeling or new construction of buildings. However, these trailers will only be exempt if the trailer is identified and marked with the name of the contractor or construction company and has affixed to the rear of the trailer at least 100 square inches of reflector tape. City code also prohibits the parking of any vehicle, truck or trailer in any alley of the City of Minden during any time of the day or night. The only exception to this prohibition is for loading or unloading, but shall not exceed the maximum time of 30 minutes.

    • Home maintenance items (such as paint, stain, varnish, paint thinner, stripper and adhesive)

The $20 will remain on the customer’s account until they move out of Minden. A deposit of $300 or more is only refundable when the customer leaves the City of Minden. The billing software will automatically recognize when a customer has a good payment history and apply the refund. Customers may make inquiries to 308-832-1820. Business deposits are only refunded when the business no longer has utilities with the City of Minden. Landlord deposits are non-refundable until the landlord no longer owns any properties in Minden.

  • A residential customer must make 12 payments in a row by the 10th of the month and then all but $20 of the original deposit will be refunded to their utility bill. The $20 will remain on the customer’s account until they move out of Minden. A deposit of $300 or more is only refundable when the customer leaves the City of Minden. The billing software will automatically recognize when a customer has a good payment history and apply the refund. Customers may make inquiries to 308-832-1820. Business deposits are only refunded when the business no longer has utilities with the City of Minden. Landlord deposits are non-refundable until the landlord no longer owns any properties in Minden.
