Library Board Passes Renovation Plans

(MINDEN, NE) -- Major changes are around the corner for Jensen Memorial Library as the Library Board has recently approved plans for an interior design overhaul. Thanks to Susan Kirkpatrick, designer and President of Office Interiors and Designs, Inc, the library expects to begin the facelift in December 2011 with new furniture, an efficient layout, and a splash of color. The adult and children's sections will switch areas, the computer lab will move across to the south room, and the circulation desk will have a new central location between the two sections. A new meeting room will acquire the space previously occupied by circulation and storage. Jensen family funds are supporting the entire project, and no tax money has been used.
